The above Local Rule only applies to ‘friendly’ games.

– Mats must not be used for qualifying scores.

– Placing is only used for closely mown areas. (Lift clean and drop may not be used in the rough, the ball

must be played as it lies.)

Ropes surrounding tees and greens are in place to protect the course. Please do not take trollies or buggies beyond the ropes. Ropes and supports are deemed movable obstructions, relief is available using Rule 15.2a.

Where a ball hits a rope or support, the stroke may be replayed.

Temporary Greens

When proper greens are in play, temporary greens are deemed to be a ‘wrong green’, relief must be taken in accordance with Rule 13.1f. If a player makes a stroke at a ball lying on a ‘wrong green’ they will receive a 2-stroke penalty and must correct the error. Failure to correct the error will result in disqualification.

Tractor/Tyre Ruts There is no automatic relief from tractor/tyre ruts. Should conditions warrant, a special notification will be issued.
